Architecture e-Mock Board Exam Guidelines

ONLINE MOCK BOARD DATES: MAY  13 – 15  2024

Coverage:

• Part 1: History and Theory of Architecture; Principles of Planning; Architecture Practice
• Part 2: Utilities Systems / Structural Conceptualization / Building Materials and Construction
• Part 3: Architectural Design & Site Planning

Exam Duration: 10 hours total

General Instructions:

1. Only students who have registered  as taking the Mock Board Online will have access to the e-Mock Board Exam.
2. Online Mock Students will be added to a new Course named “ARKI DEC 2024 MOCK BOARD EXAM“. You can only access the exam on the scheduled date your name is listed on.
3. You will be reminded of your Mock Board Online Exam via email prior to the day of your exam.
4. Exam can be taken anytime between 7am and 9pm.
5. You will be reminded of your Mock Board Online Exam via email prior to the day of your exam.
6. Make sure to use a Desktop Computer or Laptop and not a Tablet or Mobile Phone to take the exam
7. There is a time limit during each part. Breaks can be taken in-between Parts.
8. After the Exam, you will be presented with the result of your Mock Exam.
9. You may use the following on your examination day:
   1. Two or more pencils (No. 2)
   2. Ballpens with black ink only
   3. Calculators with the following features only – addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, trigonometric function, logarithm and xy.
   4. In Part 3 of the examination, every examinee may use the following:
      1. architectural scales (English and Metric Scales)
      2. 30 x 60 and 45 degree triangles
      3. protractors
      4. calculators (as stated above)
      5. pencils, drawing pens, erasers, and other tools for sketching purposes.
      6. graphing paper
      7. Printed copy of Rule VII and VIII of the 2004 Revised IRR of P.D. No. 1096 “1977 National Building Code of the Philippines (NBCP)”.
10. Most importantly, as this is an online test, examinees are advised to take the necessary steps to make sure they take exam without any distractions.
