Position: Interior Design Supervisor (Condominium)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the design and planning of all interior aspects for condominium projects, from concept to completion.
• Collaborate on approving interior materials (specifications, brands, and workmanship). Assist in sourcing materials, request samples and create mood boards. Recommend lighting considering its impact on the space. Coordinate with the Architectural Designer to seamlessly integrate design concepts.
• Secure approval for all designs from immediate superior and upper management before implementation.
• Supervise preparation of bid documents for construction purposes (when applicable).
• Foster strong communication and collaboration with your team, Architectural Design Officers, and MEPF Officers.
• Attend coordination meetings and actively participate in site visits when needed. Represent GERI at product presentations related to interior design aspects, confidently presenting design concepts and recommendations.
• Develop creative and innovative concept plans, translating them into compelling presentations using AutoCAD and 3D rendering tools (SketchUp or Lumion etc).
• Manage and mentor a team of interior design associates, providing guidance and ensuring their professional development.
• Cross-check and refine interior design plans and specifications. This includes creating detailed documentation like blow-up plans, joinery details, and specification digests to represent the final design intent, encompassing furniture, curtains, cabinets, closets, floor layouts, paint finishes, tiles, and more.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Interior Design degree or equivalent (required)
• Licensed Interior Designer (required)
• Willingness to conduct frequent site visits (required)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in condominium interior design (required)
• Experience in a supervisory role within interior design (preferred, depending on the position applying for – Asst. Supervisor, Supervisor, or Sr. Supervisor)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D rendering software (SketchUp or Lumion) (preferred)
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Creative and innovative approach to design with a strong understanding of current trends
• Keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality design solutions
• Leadership skills and the ability to motivate and mentor a team
