The CDEP Technical Writers Group was launched at the 2013 conference of the Center for the Designed Environment Professions (CDEP) on April 17, 2012 in Quezon City.

Senator Edgardo J. Angara spoke as guest of honor and received a book on Landscape Architecture as a token of appreciation.
