CDEP celebrated a decade of design leadership with its 1st Conference and 10th Anniversary Party
On April 27, 2013, two significant events took place at the UP Ayala Land Techno-Hub Conference Room, Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City. From 3:00 to 6:00 PM, CDEP hosted a conference and book launch, followed by an anniversary celebration from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. These events marked a major milestone in CDEP’s mission to advance architecture, landscape architecture, interior design, urban design, planning, and the engineering disciplines.
Conference: “Building Knowledge for the Filipino Design Professionals”
With the theme “Building Knowledge for the Filipino Design Professionals,” the conference highlighted the importance of research and collaboration across disciplines in the building industry. A series of paper presentations provided valuable insights, engaging participants in meaningful discussions and enhancing their understanding of the design professions.
The talks were strategically designed to address the growing responsibilities of Filipino designers, particularly in terms of their impact on the environment. The event culminated in a keynote address that focused on the current state of the design industry and how Filipino professionals could apply the insights gained during the conference to drive growth and innovation.

10th Anniversary Celebration
After the conference, the celebration of CDEP’s 10th anniversary commenced from 6:00 PM onwards. This milestone event provided an opportunity for attendees to network with fellow design professionals and commemorate CDEP’s decade-long contribution to the advancement of Filipino designers and engineers.
The event successfully celebrated ten years of fostering creativity, collaboration, and innovation in the design industry.
